Description:

SmartScout is an automatic optical street light monitoring system that can be used day or night from the safety of a vehicle.

By observation of flicker, cycling, dimming and incorrect switching times, SmartScout can anticipate and prevent costly failures and reduce the cost of repairs.

A SmartScout (TM) unit may be attached to each street light column or fitted inside the optic space of lower power illuminated street furniture.

SmartScout units record the switching times and light intensity from each lamp, and transmit the information via low power radio to the passing surveyor.

Vehicle or pedestrian survey equipment is available. Max speed of operation 70 mph.

Retriever (TM) software in the data collection computer automatically produces fault reports and survey statistics.

In Survey-Repair mode, Retriever provides spoken audio warnings to the driver.

Only one survey visit is required to perform a 100% audit of all illuminated assets.
